Radio Reporter Robert Philpot

That's unfortunate if it's true. He has a really good article about Rebecca Miller in today's S-T. I also enjoy his daily comments next to the TV listings on the back of the Life section.

The Star-Telegram keeps giving me more and more reasons to cancel my subscription.

Just got an email from him and it looks like he survived this round... but these days you never know.

Yeah, I posted the Rebecca Miller article on the TV board. Congrats to her for being named Chief Meteorologist at 33 but it sucks that Bob Goosman gets shoved to weekends though.

Hate to say it but the newspaper is quickly becoming a dinosaur in the age of electronic media. The Rocky Mountain News in Denver shutdown last week after 150 years.

Yes, and it looks like the San Fran Chronicle is the next to die. Very sad. Belo aka Dallas Morning News/WFAA is on life support too. How is that studio in Victory Vacant Park working out? ;D
