Radio Reunion

I'd love to see many of you but sadly there are a few of you i couldn not stand to see. You know who you are and so does everyone else. Ex coke heads, crazies that screwed over many good people with their fat egos many OVERRATED. Years and decades of telling lies, driving wedges between good friends to save your own neck. To this day YOU still pretend it never happened. How pathetic you are STILL.

Repent i say before it's too late for some of you. Yes we all make mistakes but to the few i refer to who will be at this reunion you know who you are and how many lies and backstabbing you did right up to your recent retirement.

To those (the majority) of radio people coming in for the reunion have a great time and i wish i was with you, but unfortunately i never worked Houston but i sure know alot of you having worked with you in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco and NY.

If you are trying to call someone out, just go ahead and say it. This ain't high school. Grow up.

If you are not going to say who it is because you think this person knows who they are, then just send him/her a damn personal message, IM, or e-mail with your problem. Personally, I really don't see the need to discuss your personal vendettas in this board, but if it involves Houston Radio, then I guess your welcomed to discuss your anger, as long as it is Radio business, Houston to be exact.

If you are mad at Clearchannel, then get in line, because there is a mile long line of people in front of you and me.

In all sincerity, I'm not trying to be mean, but I think at whoever you are trying to throw daggers here probably doesn't give a damn about you and probably doesn't remember you, so why should you?

Hey buddy...thanks for the advice!

I see a few people on that list I'm not looking forward to seeing again, so I'll just avoid them at the reunion. That's going to be easy to do in a crowd as big as this is shaping up to be. Why let something as small as that spoil a great afternoon of fun and adult beverages with a lot of old friends?

It doesn't make any difference who you are, I think we've put together a fun little event that you're going to enjoy. I, for one, look very much forward to seeing, and visiting with, all of you.

Andy

There will always be somebody in any business that you do not like and vice versa. It's the nature of people. Some you can mix with and others you cannot. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with folks you haven't seen in a long time.

Yeah, like for example, I've always secretly hated that Chuck Tiller guy, so I'll just sip my scotch and fart in his general direction! HAHAHAHA!!

Seriously, I've been looking forward to this ever since we first started talking about it. I think it's understood that egos and attitudes will be checked at the door. If not, "EGO AND ATTITUDES WILL BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR"! So, if that's a problem for you, please do us all a favor and stay home. Cool?

Oh and for the record:

15 different stations in Houston
125 stations on the ABC Radio Network
and EVERY market in America on XM Satellite Radio.

Just in case there's a contest.

See y'all there!!

Hey Colonel,

Are you going to announce when the new “All Hawaiian/Polka/Bowling Alley Music & TV Theme” format will launch? We've all been waiting on pins and needles ;D

Boss-

If you never worked here, do not plan on coming here, why even chime in unless it is to get your 'after the fact' revenege-on? You wanna come? Then fly in. [EDIT-inflammatory content] It's just a gathering, organized by 4 or 5 folks who wanna see their friends.

Got a gripe with somebody? I say call them out (here, on this board) and identify yourself. Or just shut the hell up and quit tossing a rain cloud over our party.

He has done that on other boards (Texas Radio and DFW)...yet claims to only have been a part timer on KHJ and a RKO programmer......hhhmmm guess that makes him qualified for the Texas much less than Houston market.......

Has anyone contacted TX Hall Of Famer Errol Coker??? (He is an ex boss and a DAMN good friend)...if not, I'll be glad to...he works at KHCB now.....I bet he would like to be there.

There are a number of engineering types who I would like to see at this event...including: Bill Cordell, Doug Fredricksen, Andy Hudack, Alex Schnieder, Robert Tindle...and several more. CW...please let some of your engineering buddies know about this get-together.

Thanks,

Andy

Chuck Tiller asked me if I was going to make it...I replied I had other committments....but it looks like my schedule MAY be free......(I'll know later this week) I already fwded this to Errol.....havent heard back from him....I noticed Ron Parker is going to be there...I need to talk with him....been years since we talked!!!! Well, tell them to do so if they plan to attend. No RSVP-no admittance. We will announce a cut off date/time on the other thread soon.

Rowdy & Andy

Thanks Anne for remembering us.

I have emailed Barretta and also Bill Taylor.

As much as I would love to be there, I won't be able to make this one.
My entire home, 2 trucks, my studio, and over an acre of yard & trees were destoyed by an F3 tornado a few months back, and I'm still sorting through the rubble and picking up the pieces.
My undies were in the trees along with all my tax receipts --and my credit cards ended up
(strangely in a town called Kansasville). I was home at the time and felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.
Although, closing my eyes and clicking my heels 3 times, didn't help.

So here I must stay, to fight
the insurance company yet another day.

But thanks for remembering us! I'll see ya at the next one.

Angela ...( Auntie A)

P.S. Who's taking digital photos?
