Radio Revenue by Market - David Eduardo?

The MKA market revenue reports are for subscribers only, according to the http://www.millerkaplan.com website.

However, for we non-subscribers who are merely curious, is there anything akin to 12+ number in Arbitron that is publicly available? Failing that (paging David Eduardo), is it possible to get a ranking of, say, the top 25 radio markets by revenue and an approximation of the amounts?

Why? As merely an industry observer, I'm just interested in the market revenue trends over the past few years as it pertains to D/FW. In short, how are we stacking up to other markets -- flat, rising or falling? For example, has D/FW surpassed the SF Bay area in these measurements?

There are other sources, such as BIA. However, the users are bound by a contract whereby there is a limit to what can be divulged. Presenting a ranker of market revenue is beyond that usage. In any case, the 2008 data is not yet out, and given that the 2007 information is so different from our industry's current reality, the old data without the latest information is not of much use.

And, yes, the estimates for 2008 I have seen show Dallas ahead of San Francisco in billings, but still off about 15% over the peak 2006 billing level.

Thanks David. After doing additional research, I see that D/FW ranks #4 (2007).

Why does a larger (SF #4 vs. D/FW #5) market like the SF Bay area not do better in overall radio revenue? And if San Jose were included, can I presume that it would score in the top 4?

I don't really know how San Jose is handled. It is inside the SF Arbitron market, as is Santa Rosa, but is listed separately in all the sources.
