"Radio Ritmo" Signs On The FM Dial

The Midlands' first 24-hour Spanishlanguage radio station started broadcasting this week with almost exclusively local programming.

Sergio Perez, vice president of Peregon Broadcasting, which operates WIGL 93.9 FM from studios in Irmo, said the new "Radio Ritmo" -- Spanish for rhythm -- aims to bring both entertainment and information to the Hispanic community in the Midlands. He said the new FM station has "everything that every other station has.

Apparently my search session has expired.

Wasn't this in the free 7-day archive?
 
I forgot to go to the link at a library that gives me free access to Newsbank. Actually, I may have that here. But the site doesn't have South Carolina papers listed. Maybe if I actually was in S.C.
