Radio Roundup-DETROIT Style

It seems the other boards are doing this, so let's get some opinions. What are your favorite Detroit radio stations? And then what out of markets do you listen to? And online stations? Finally, to differentiate this from the other boards: past stations in Detroit. I'll go first:

DETROIT (or area):
-89x: I've gotten out of the angstier stuff they've added over the past couple years, but it seems they're adding more good stuff to their playlist (M83, Of Monsters and Men, Gotye). I think what makes this station so great is that it is as local as Detroit radio gets. I hear LOCAL jocks at just about every daypart and the music (heavier than my tastes) is what the people want to hear.
-WQKL/Ann Arbor: How a AAA format should sound. And a Cumulus station that doesn't sound like a bland and over-mainstreamed playlist.
-97.1: Not huge on talk radio (except for NPR on the 40 minute commute), but hearing the PBPs for the teams I support makes them worthwhile.
OUT OF MARKET:
-Radio 104.5/Philly
-Radio 94.7/Sacramento
-KFOG/San Francisco
-K-Twin/Minneapolis
I don't really do online radio, but I'll listen to Pandora's Instrumental Jazz station if I'm writing something.
PAST STATIONS I MISS:
-93.1 DRQ: I looked forward to listening to this every day when I was in junior high. They played the dance tunes months before Kiss FM (I'm from Toledo, hence the rocket name) would and it was exciting to hear what they'd play next.
-V98.7: I didn't get into jazz until they were on their way out, but it sounded really good.
Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. I look forward to reading your responses. Have a great weekend! GO TIGERS!

These are my favorite Detroit stations:

95.5 Channel 9-5-5
96.3 WDVD
98.7 Amp Radio
100.3 "Fresh 100"
104.3 WOMC
Soft Rock 105.1

In addition to these, I also occasionally like listening to 92.3, 105.9, and 107.5 if they are playing something good. The gospel station on 102.7 doesn't sound bad either.

I miss 93.1 WDRQ, Smooth Jazz V98.7, and 106.7 The Beat.

In other markets, I spend a lot of time listening to Soft AC station 93.1/WFEZ out of Miami - mainly because it's such a novelty station and plays lots of soft artists most stations don't play anymore (such as Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, the Carpenters, Air Supply, etc.). But in the past I've also spent a good amount of time listening to Crush 105.7 out of Albany NY (a '90s station that plays lots of good songs from that decade which are heard nowhere else).

For me, I would go 89x one. The morning show is hilarious, and I like the dj's that are on afterward. Next, I would go with fellow Bell Media station 93.9. I have listened to that station since they flipped in '06. Now, they do overplay music that CHR beats into the ground, but there are songs that I have heard on this station before any of the other local stations. 97.1 gets my ears on occasion, but it's mostly between 2-6 with Valenti and Foster. Pat Caputo should just see if WJR has a local show spot for him. 90% of the time when I flip by when he's on, he's talking about stuff perfect for 'JR except Obama mentions. I also listen to the 'RIF on occasion. out of state, I check out Rock 105.3 in San Diego. 105.9 The X in Pittsburgh was a good listen too.

My favorite stations include:

94.7 WCSX
105.1 WMGC (Soft Rock 105.1)
93.9 CIDR

Past stations I miss:
93.1 WDRQ (before 'Doug FM')
95.5 WKQI (as Q95-5)
100.3 WNIC (before Fresh 100)

Don't really listen to radio stations online.

On the ATL THREAD BOARD, I said that WMGC was my favorite nationwide music station. They truly have the best mix of AC ever. Now, on the occasion that I am in the BIG D, I listen to WJR 760.

For me, I'd like to see a station pick up some talk shows that aren't cleared in this market, among them Clark Howard and Neal Boortz. I think WXYT (AM) could've picked a better lineup when they flipped to talk.
