Radio Salaries??

I've been a radio fan for ages, never have worked in the industry. I've just always been curious, what kind of salaries do on air personalities make? I mean, like if you're a late night jock on a really popular station, what would you make on average? Or what about a popular morning show duo like an Atom and Maria? What about local AM jocks? News anchors like on 740? Or a hot talk jock like Chris Baker? Just something I've always been curious about...

What are you talking about? I'm getting rich, and fast! ;DThat was funny. :D

Really?I venture to guess from about 26K to about 160K.With the high end limited to very few..The average being about 37.5K.Just a guess.

iirc, when S&P signed with KLOL, they were being paid $1mill a year....not sure if that was together or each..College degrees dont count in radio.....its all in the ratings and how good you are on the air and how much you can bring to the station in listener numbers...Chris Baker and other similar well known on air folks get the top dollar....others like Wendy Miller probably are mid range...weekenders and part timers always get the bottom....like maybe 10 or so per hour if that good ;)
