Radio Sales Opportunities

Wondering if there are any current or upcoming radio sales or radio sales management opportunities in South Carolina. Looking at a possible move to
the Myrtle Beach or Charleston area. Over 15 years of radio sales and radio sales management experience. Any leads or point of contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you are interested in radio station sales, you can get a job at almost any station. Most are hiring.

We're hiring in New Jersey and I know many other owners are hiring too.

I have a question concerning hiring.

How can stations be hiring when the economy is so bad? Everywhere I look, people are letting people go left and right. Are sales positions the place to be in radio if you want to get/stay in? Are my results skewed with radio just because all of the DJs are being let go and those are the most visible positions?

Most radio stations are hiring. We're all looking for good sales people, both male and female. It's a great opportunity for someone interested in sales.

Someone with outstanding on-air talent could easily land a career position as dual sales person & on-air personality. Problem is, most personalities don't want to sell but those than can will be looking at six figures easily.

PS: if you know such a person, please send him or her my way.. We're hiring at LIFT FM.

Even in bad times some operations are doing things right, or are at the right place and the right time and they remain profitable and maybe expanding while other operations are digging in or failing.

Even where business is just stable, neither booming or failing, people mature and retire and need to be replace. People die and need to be replaced. People look in the mirror and realize they are not where they need to be and they bail out. AND.... drum roll please.... people screw-up or the fail and are asked to moved on and must be replaced.

The other thing that may be invisible to you are the operations that don't make a lot of headlines. Stations that are doing things right and continue to be profitable and continue to grow.

As I am fond of saying: May their tribe increase.
