Yep! Classic John Conlee.

I bet he doesn't have an HD radio either, though.................hee, hee!

I sold a mic to my friend John Conlee..and he is a terrific guy..plus he is a tech-head. For grins, he reconstructed a 1965 radio stations in a room in his house..complete with a Gates Yard console, 16" turntables and those clunky old Collins/ATC cart machines..very cool guy, and you're right, I'm sure he doesn't have an HD radio either.

Jeffster: tell John Conlee that if he gets tired of playing with his '65 studio, I'll buy the console and the transcription tables from him. Tell him I want to play "Miss Emily's Picture" on them. ;)

Still one of my country faves....

Neat story! I always wanted to meet him to say thank you for all the wonderful music I grew up on from him. He always seemed like a down-to-earth guy. Glad to hear he is.
