Radio Shack Not Carrying the Basics Anymore?

I Know! Tell them to just change the name of the store to Cellphone Shack! So where do you go now to buy replacemant speakers for a Mach 1 or T-200 Speaker
system now? Mach 1 has a 15 inch woofer and the T-200 has 2 10 inch woofers I believe one of which is used for midrange. Anybody have an answer? In both of these speaker systems the foam around the outside of the speaker dried up and
has turned to dust. But what do you expect after more than twenty years? Help!

Ive seen a lot of replacement parts for MACH 1 speakers on eBay.
Might want to look there...

MCM Electronics sells replacement foam surround kits for various size speakers. Assuming the speaker is otherwise OK, you might be able to fix it yourself with one of those kits.

When I was growing up the three best days of the year were Christmas, my birthday, and the day the Allied catalog came in the mail! Dad always got the Allied catalog, although I don't recall he ever ordered much from it. Later, I discovered Lafayette, Olson, Burstein-Appleby. I'm still using a Lafayette stereo amplifier.

I wish I had saved all those old catalogs... I even bought an Allied and a Lafayette catalog off e-bay a few years ago just for old times sake!

Seems to me that Radio Shack cares more about selling cell phones than anything else. At least where I live, they mostly promote Sprint more than Verizon, but Verizon has been great for me, but not going through Radio Shack though. I don't care what deal they can offer, the customer service is that bad in my opinion. I wonder what wireless service(s) Radio Shack sells in markets that don't have either Verizon Wireless or Sprint PCS, or neither service. In NW Indiana stores, it's Sprint & Verizon.
