Radio Shack's Accurian OTA digital receiver.

Has anyone experienced "lock up" on FOX affiliates. The 2 here in southeast Florida will "lock up" this unit when tuned to them. Signal levels are fine and I do not experience this on any other channels, even ones that are poor signal quality ( causing "tiling" ). Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I've had no problem with WFXT in Boston, and I've tried it in two different locations with the same box. I've had some problems with the Pax station, but that may be more on their end (poor signal processing) than anything else. Are you using a regular indoor antenna or one specifically for HD/DTV signals?

I have had no problems at all with signal lock up on this unit; it works pretty well. A complete description of my experience the reception with the Accurion is detailed on my post in the New England board (listed below the national board) of the TV section here on radio-info.

I'm using a DX Antenna DTA-2000 on the outside

of the house. This is an amplified antenna. I have tried attenuators and even another set of rabbit ears with the same results ( just on the FOX affiliates ).
Just thought this was extremely odd. Other than that, I like the unit.
