Radio Smiles/Norman Suttles

Jim, I'll work on getting them put in digital format. I have a large box of air checks that I listened to recently on a borrowed reel to reel machine. I'll see if I can borrow it again. I was experimenting with Audacity and saved a few files as .wma. The ones I saved were of my old on the air gigs. I was not much of a DJ but I was a good combo man. I have many more of other DJs etc. I'd like to digitize the box of tapes before either they or I get too old and brittle. Some of them were at 15 ips. The tape machine was at 7 1/2. I saved them then changed the bit rate on Audacity. Played back fine. Stopped and started the files and digitally edited. It sure is easier to use for editing than a grease pencil and razor blade.
