Radio, social media, bringing younger demos back to radio.

For PD's who have live 7-MID show on your station. How much integration of Twitter, Facebook or chat do you use for your shows. Do you think it is critical to bring younger demos to your station. do you use it too much or too little. Your thoughts.
 
Radio programmers used to use phones to engage listeners. Now it's social media, more than phones. Although both are important. I know jocks who do a show on Twitter while they're playing music on the air. Because of PPM they can do more on social media than they can on air.
 
so I suppose today's jocks pick up girls on twitter & facebook
not on the request line --------- but get into the same trouble as jocks
did in 1965. (with underage girls )
