Just looked at this board for the first time, so I thought this may be of interest:

I haven't seen a new radio station button in a while. Too expensive?

Wow...as soon as I saw it, I said "Is RKO back in business?".

That's their logo in between the call letters and the numbers.

I think radio sation buttons are a thing of the past. I would rather invest the money in other promotional items.

....such as?
(Always looking for what works well these days).
Our (Oldies) static sticker spotting promotion is "OK" but nothing great.
Still like the frig magnets....
the T-shirts are a nice listener perk & mobile billboard, but pricey.
Something cheap & effective I'm missing?

My station was giving away buttons with our slogan and website on them, after the major event, we saw our numbers skyrock. i think mainly because we are a dance station in chicago and chicago needed it. what else would be a good giveaway idea?

chi-town dance ??? what frequencey are u broadcasting on?
(care to promote that ?) or is it a hush-hush operation...
