Radio Station Competitors

While perusing the radio dial today on my way home from work, I heard Bruce Palmer on Oldies 103.3 just before 3 and switched to WSRS-FM 96.1 and yes, you guessed it, Bruce Palmer. Which one was voice tracked (perhaps both)? My question is, why would competing companies in what is essentially the same market (although some may argue their seperate marketplaces), allow the same person to work at the competition?

Well, Boston is major market. Worcester is medium market. Most owners don't get in the way in you have an opportunity for a "major market gig". Paul Connors worked at WTAG and WSRS while at the same time doing Magic 106.7 work years ago.

WSRS must have been the one voicetracked. I don't think WODS does much, if any, voicetracking.

If an opening develops at WODS, Bruce Palmer should get it.
