I'm glad to see we all take this thread seriously.
Come on, there have been some great personalities who have come and gone through the revolving door of NEPA radio.
Most of the people already mentioned I worked with at some point in time or another and in my opinion most of them don't deserve to be on a dream team list.
But that's my opinion....agree? Disagree???

A dream team would be the people who pulled the numbers. Scrape the cream off the top of the milk can and you've got your list. Harry West, Frankie, the great WARM dj's, Jeff, etc.
______________

Frankie?!? Frankie who?

And maybe there's a Jeff I'm forgetting? Because I know it can't be Jeff Bob Martin. He has a speech impediment. I don't hold that against him. But he's also an a _ _ hole.

Frankie Indy Mornin'

The one that jumps. Or used to...
______________

Don't forget ME, darnitalltoheck. Some company did a telephone coincidental years ago and for the older demographic (55+), I blew all the other stations off the map, 10:00-Noon. I don't show up much in the Arbs 'cuz they have a hard time finding the book, much less being able to write in it. Even Bob Neilsen admitted I did serious damage to WNAK in those two hours; quite a compliment.

Ok I'll Bite

General Manager: Chris Norton (not a GM that I know of but I think he'd make a good one)
Program Director: Jim Rising
Sales Manager: Phil Bullwinkle (loyal and does wonders with no #s)
Promotions Director: Spanky (no one was more fun to work with)
Production Director: Jude Schrader (creative weird guy)
Morning Team: Bob and Tom (syndicated in the market does that count?)
Midday: Mike Naydock or Jack Meyers (great story tellers)
Afternoons: Prospector (rants with the best of em and never afraid to offend)
Nights: Ed Hamilton (no one was better as a rock jock in his prime)
Overnights Lou Fontaine (could fit in middays or afternoons but I added this one to find a place for another great story teller)

Wow and I took it semi seriously

Harry in his prime, but it was a different world.

Frankie, as in Magic? Wow. If you like vanilla ice cream maybe.

And if by Jeff you mean Walker? You're either related to him or he paid you or you're him and someone needs to tell Tom Carten you're using his name.

Chris Norton, okay.
Jim Rising, yep.
Do we have to have a sales manager?
Spanky, no objections.
Jude Schrader, creative and weird.
Bob and Tom, sucker.
Mike Naydock, okay. Jack Meyers? Mike Naydock, okay.
Prospector, good.
Ed Hamilton, I remember him, okay.
Lou Fontaine, small doses.

Look, I'm sitting here prepping my show, trying to think of who was really good at one time or another (I thought the rules were "anyone who worked in the market" -- not necessarily good at this time) and figured JJW was pretty hot at one time doing afternoons. I used to be pretty hot in my younger days; we all cool off and lose our edge. Frankie may be like vanilla ice cream, but it's the most popular flavor and I figure we're going for the most numbers across the board on this station of ours.

I still think my joke post was closer to the truth. I'd love to see George Graham doing nights with our dream station -- late night, not overnights. Stick the newbies with that so they can try their wings without doing any damage.
______________

My God, how in the world could I have forgotten
Ed? If you take a look at the entire lineup, Ed
is the consumate utility guy, he was in every one
of those catagories. When Ed was stationed in Guam,
he served as the GM for the Armed Forces Radio outlet.
Then upon returning to the states, Ed's first job
was as Program Director of WICK when it was being
run by Joe Dobbs. Then that fire happened and Ed
had moved on. He decided to go into promotions and
at one of the stations did a Moon Rock promotion
celebrating the lunar voyages. He set up this huge
dance at the Kingston Armory and they expected 2,000
people but that was the day Apollo 13 had the problems
and the station cancelled the celebration due to that
situation. Ed wanted to do a prayer rally but the
station owners nixed that. Ed did mid days for a while
on the old WGBI FM but got tired of playing "Lowdown"
by Boz Scaggs every half hour. He was mentioned as
part of a team up with Harry West on WARM but then
Harry jumped to WILK. One of Ed's other promotional
ventures came in the eighties when at Halloween his
station did a thing called "Mid Valley Madness". Home
owners were asked to decorate their houses in bright
orange but the promotion was abandoned when the power
grids in Jessup and Archbald became overloaded. In
terms of production, Ed produced memorable radio spots
like "See the view at the Grandview", "Who's Your Daddy,
it's Superdads!!" and "Get Yourself A Perfect 10".
Ed did nights on the old WYZZ FM and actually told
Susquehanna Broadcast execs about the 92.9 signal
which is now Magic. Ed decided to do sales at
one point and even landed a huge multi station
contract for a string of gas stations
called "Al Qaida Brothers Convenience Marts". The
contract was signed in August of 2001 and needless
to say Ed's chance of being a Sales Manager went
out the window.
As you all can see, our boy Ed
has covered each base of this Broadcast Dream Team.
I apologize for the omission of his name and grand
contributions to our industry. I can assure you this
mistake will never happen again. Ed is indeed the epitomy
of the DreamTeam.

His brother Jack was fooling around with a music format.
