Radio Station In Madison Heights, Va

I was wondering if anyone has heard that station in Madison Heights. The calls are WRMV-LP at 94.5 Fm and they also have a translator in Rustburg. I believe its W265AS 100.9 FM. I have listened some and it sounds like they have a format of Positive/Christian Country Music. Not much talking at all so they must be running automated. Anyone heard it?

Last time I was in Rustburg I heard it on 100.9, but it's really not my kind of music so I didn't stay tuned in.

That 100.9 translator has repeated a couple of different stations over the years. I wonder what happens to it if/when WIQO gets their move into Forest.

One note: This is one of the few situations that I know of where the translator gets out much further than the mother station. 100.9 is receivable well past Bedford City to the west and into Nelson County to the north. Being on Long Mountain also helps!

Quite normally I could pick up 100.9 in Farmville during their "Z-101" days. After they simulcasted WICE/Clarksville, the translator sounded like it was pumping music from a phone line...not to mention the signal was bad. During Christmas when I was back up there I tried picking it up back in town and it came in perfect, despite having a station just two spots up the dial next door!

I would have to say though, they need to tone the bass down on both stations. The signal is heavily distorted. Ah well, can't ask for everything.
