radio traffic reporters around NYC

In reporting on traffic , is Matt Ward on 1010 WINS ,Tom Rivers on NJ 101.5 ?

I was in the area last month and heard Tom Rivers on NJ 101.5 doing traffic ,it sounded just like Matt Ward who does traffic on 1010 WINS.

I know this sharing of traffic reporters on various stations is done in my area ( SF ) ,I guess it is done in the number one radio market too ?

By the way I was not impressed in what I heard on NYC radio ,especially when it came to talk radio.
Seem to be very little local talk ,again number 1 market ,plenty of people with opinions and they seem to be ignored.

Yes, Matt Ward uses Tom Rivers when he does NJ 101.5 traffic. He's one of the few who uses a different name and it's a holdover from something the station used to do.

Did NJ 101.5 actually used to have a guy named Tom Rivers? That's a good name considering there's a town called Toms River.
