Radio traffic reports.

Forget radio, why do television stations waste so much time in the morning with traffic reporting? When I'm sitting in my pj's, I don't really care what I465 looks like. I know they have nothing better to do, but it can be silly.

Jeff,

120 cams... SWEET! Many markets the size of Cincy do not have that technology in place. ALL major cities should be so lucky.

The problem with planes/helicopters is the cost. They're only up 6 hours a day during rush hours, and that's if the weather permits... and no mechanical problems. If you take a city like Indy and your plane is over the dog-leg, it takes too long to fly down to the southside to check on a reported incident. Cams on the major roadways make much more sense.

If you don't have that technology yet, we're back to my original posting. It's a crap shoot. You do the best you can with the tools your employer gives you.
