Radio/TV coverage of Cubs

First off, Congratulations on the Cubs pennant win!
So some questions from an out-of-market person
--How long did the local radio/TV stations cover the pennant clinching win Saturday?
--How much coverage has the full Cubs playoff run got in the media? Are there any (non-sports) stations especially playing up the story, or maybe even barely mentioning it?

I watched the entire game at my son's house, then drove home (an hour's drive) after it ended. When I got home, WGN and the network o&o TV stations were still broadcasting from wrigleyville. On my drive, I was listening to the live coverage on WSCR. Which I'm pretty sure lasted until well past midnight, but not all night. WSCR was going wall-to-wall commercial free during the time I was in the car, but the on-the-scene coverage was handed off to a studio host around 11pm (IIRC).

At one point I flipped over to WGN, where the host was talking about the game, but it wasn't anywhere near the degree of coverage that WSCR was offering. I didn't check WMVP.

In my opinion, CBS/WSCR has gone "all in" with their coverage/promotion of Cubs baseball....and the result has been very rewarding for both the Cubs and their fans. WGN did a good job when they had the Cubs, but if anything, CBS has done even better. Of course, one has to realize that the Cubs were an inferior product during most of their long tenure on WGN. Still, I can't help but wonder if the suits at Tribune (Tronc or whatever) regret letting go of what's arguably now the "crown jewel" of Chicago sports properties.

WGN Radio had their post game show run until 1:00 AM in the morning this past Saturday they actually used to carry the team, not sure about other stations.
