In case you haven't heard, Former Chief Engineer Rich Heatley has passed away.
A brief history: Rich was Chief Eng. For KZAZ TV Ch. 11 for many years. He along with his
wife & daughter were the owners of radio station KAYN 98.3 FM in Nogales as well. I first met Rich
when he was Chief Engineer at 580 AM KJMM when the station was reserected on Swan Rd. after so many
years of being off air as KIKX. As a Chief Engineer myself, I learned so many things from Rich as well as
being a friend of his & his family. I shall always cherish his friendship as well as what he had taught me. He
will be greatly missed by me. My most sincere condolences to his daughter & his grandchildren. More to follow regarding services. R.I.P., Rich!! Adios. :'(
