Unfortunately, as some of you may know, Rowan Uni in Glassboro has had a string of suicides recently, and one of the victims was an RTF major. (three suicides this fall semester alone, and eight deaths within the last year)
The college of communications has been hit hard by these events, and with that news- Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS will be producing a half hour long piece on these events.
It's something no one wants to do, but radio lends itself nicely to being to cover these topics with respect and compassion.
