A favorite of cold-hearted radio executives everywhere...

Ultimate Blood From A Turnip:

1-1/2 ounces pepper-infused Vodka (such as Absolut Peppar)
5 ounces Tomato Juice (spicy preferred)
1/4 ounce Turnip (grated fine)

Build in a highball glass with ice. Stir with a celery stick to garnish.

Note to bartender: no turnip? Substitute horseradish, but smile broadly when serving and say nothing.
 
Haven't Given-up yet...

...but every station is a jukebox now. You may as well have baseball owners junk all players' salaries and expect 40,000 people to show-up to watch a virtual game on the Jumbo Tron. Their logic is "nobody will show-up but it sure saves us money" then they don't bat an eye at their own stupidity.
