Radio Waves: BF-T Interviews Carter B.

"Carter B. ROCKS!! :-*"

No, actually, Carter B was more middle-of-the-road and standards ;D

Yes - I enjoyed him over the years very much. He was one of a small number of MOR radio personalities that could get me to tune in stations that I would not otherwise listen to.

Having worked with CB, I'll just say there was NO ONE more fun to work with. And one of the last of the true greats...who know what communicating really means.

LOVE to Carter! He was one of nicest men I ever met when I first broke into the industry. Despite how
green I was, he was always kind and respectful. A true gentleman. And a wonderful on air presence that
you seldom hear anymore. So sad that guys like this can't find a place on the dial. It's such a vast sea
of mediocrity for the most part. Hard to get your head around. There's plenty of mature, intelligent people in
the Bay Area that would LOVE to hear a Carter B Smith show, if only there were an outlet.

Proud to say I worked with CB at KNBR.
Class act and a naturally funny guy with a wicked laugh.

But he's not dead and this is not the place for eulogies.
Somebody!!!!! Give the man a gig.

I think he should lose the hairpiece, tho.
