I am just curious about how many people under the age of 50 who listens to over the air radio in San Diego or anywhere anymore? unless they are bored in the car with their parents and tune the radio to 90.3? I don't know anyone who still listens to the radio except my 76 year old mother. Or if there is a live DJ that everyone likes. no age groups are able to handle the commercial breaks except for some 55+ listeners who likes oldies and live DJ'S that talk. ???

About 94% of all persons over 6 years of age listen at some time during each week. The average amount of time spent with the radio, per person, is 12 hours. It is a little less in the under-25 age groups, and also a little less in the over-55's.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but actual measurement beats your anecdotal experience.

Yes, it is s strange sort of thing to reconcile with real life as we know it, but statistics don't lie according to nine out ten people.
 
I listen to my Ipod most of the time but the only two stations I listen to is KSDS Jazz 88.3 and XLNC1 for classical music.
 
love coast to coast but I have never heard a show with so many breaks he comes back for a minute after a break and goes to another one oh well money is money for an all night show
