RadioClassics 82

Channel 82 is sounds so much better this week without the gratuitous squawking of Greg Bell, Greg Bell, and Gregbellmedia dot com mentions. I haven't caught the guys name, but prefer him immensely over Greg Bell.

I subscribed to XM in '02 for the music, then found the old time radio shows.

THEN I found the 12 hours of Coast-to-Coast AM per night, the Ron Wilson gardening show on Saturdays, and now Leo LaPorte on Saturdays and Sundays + weekday repeats and so much more.

But have wandered away from Radio Classics due to Bell and his terrible radio voice, plus his 'themes' of shows because it's so-and-so's birthday is this week. Who really cares?

I can't help but wonder if anyone actually "puts Greg Bell's voice to work" for them as his web site taunts.

Channel 82 listeners need a break br Mr. Bell..

XM Channel 168

A repeat of the previous night's program starts at 9 PM (I'm in the Central Time Zone).

The new show is on from Midnight to 4 AM.

A repeat of that show airs from 4-8 AM.

Okay. So that's only 11 hours. I don't know what hour of the previous night's program gets chopped. I catch an hour on the way to work in the morning, and usually 2-3 hours at 9 PM.

This is from the XM Schedule:

1 am – 9 am Coast to Coast
Coast to Coast George Noory is no ordinary talk show host, not just because Coast to Coast AM is the dominant live all-night show in America today, but because George is a true radio fanatic, the ultimate "new media" personality. Call in to Coast to Coast AM on weekdays at 1-800-618-8255 and on the weekend at 1-800-825-5033.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, last weekend (Aug 6-7) was a total waste on XM 82.

'Redhead Radio'??

All Lucy. All the Time.

C'mon Mr. Bell. I pay for a variety of programs. Programs! Not 48 hours of Lucy, and you rambling on and on. I spent 14 hours in the car those two days and didn't listen to 5 minutes. Normally . . . normally 60-75% of the time when on the road.

A total bust.
