Folks,

Don't know if this has ever been covered here, but this is a pretty cool thing.

I had to go to Houston this weekend (I do the creative for the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer) so I visited radioroadtrip.com, which I've done over the years.

The site allows you to select a major US highway, then specify your start and end points. It then gives you every radio station in every town along the way. Complete with call letters, station frequency, format, an idea of how far their signal reaches, and the distance to the next town.

It saves a lot of hunting around, and you can pick by format--rather than just what you happen upon (which, admittedly can also be fun.)

I was able to listen and pay homage to KAND on the way thanks to this service.

Check it out. Hope it helps.

Have a buddy of mine that hates to fly who told me about this gem. He drove from Big D to Martha's Vineyard and he swears by this thing (yeah, I roll with folk rolling like that... it keeps me humble ;D ;D ;D).
