Radio's past, present and future, in 1938

Gasoline Alley is probably the only comic strip, where the characters aged in real time. My mother told me that it began with Skeezix being left on Uncle Walt's doorstep, as an infant. By the time I was reading it, Uncle Walt was an old man and Skeezix was probably in his 50s!
