RadioU to expand?

RadioU has been teasing that they'll be making a major announcement at 7 AM today (March 30). They imply this announcement is of new (stations?) (signals?) (signal expansions?) that will be the most significant increase in their coverage area in their 13 year history.

I have to wonder if RadioU might even have been selected for a non-comm "Public Interest" slot on XM or Sirius, since I did find one reference to "RadioU in space" while searching on this subject.

I'll probably post back here with details later today unless someone beats me to it! ;)

I've often hoped for one of the better WAY-FM affilicates to go on satellite - but Radio U would be fantastic! There is a tremendous hole in Christian programming on satellite - nothing there for people under 50 or so.
 
Radio U this morning let everyone know this morning at the start of their unleash the music fundraiser that they will be appearing in Seattle and OKC soon. Did not give specifics. They are saying they will be able to reach an additional 2.5 million listeners with the new stations... but have not said where on the dial they will appear yet.
