Radiovisa

Is it true they're going off the air? And if so, what will become of the non Entravision affiliates including the RadioVisa O&Os(ala KXME and others)?<P ID="signature">______________

It be dead this week. The AM is being sold, and will probably not be Spanish based on the interest buyers. KMXE will continue with same programming until the sale, but many of the hosts have left already.

The Entravision stations are all Jose now.

David do you figure a Religious company like Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa or Salem will swoop in and get AM 830? I think that would be the best bet for this signal. They've tried EVERYTHING else that's viable for a AM signal.

Most talk is that it will end up with Grupo PRISA and simulcast with XETRA. Also have it staying with steve Lehman alone, and used to get LA clearance for second string talk shows.

The Phoenix Entravision station that carried Radiovisa (KMIA 710) is not airing the "Jose" format. Instead, it's "La Tricolor," and not even simulcasting the Tricolor FM they own. I'm thinking this is only a temporary situation until they set up "Jose" on KMIA.
