I heard The Rainman promoting a golf trip down at Dancing Rabbit in MS a few days ago. He mentioned that after flighting on Saturday, there would be a "Calcutta" auction for Sunday's rounds. I'm not a golfer and certainly not much af a gambler, but isn't Calcutta a sort of gambling? I doubt that this is covered by the rules covering the casinos. Number 1.....wouldn't it be illegal to be involved in this activity?.....and Number 2.....wouldn't it be illegal for him to promote it on his show? It might seem like nit picking on mh part.....but the FCC might not see it that way.

an inside source at the Q tells me they wish they could get rid of the Rainman Other quality sports shows are waitng to take his place.

I enjoyed what Bob Knight said about people like Rain Man: "Why don't you just give out hookers' phone numbers on the air -- it's really no different."

Although I suppose in the Rain Main world, if you wanted the hottest-looking hooker, you'd have to call a 900 number for 50 bucks.

Maybe Rain Man could do both: "Call now for Bambi's phone number, and I'll toss in the rest of the basketball season for free."

Sorry for the late post. This is an older topic but I am new to the board and there are so many things I want to comment on. Rainman definitely needs to go. That guy, and do your research, has swindled just about everyone he has ever been involved with. The guy is trouble and have you ever heard his show when one of his cohosts (he can't seem to keep a regular one) isn't there, he is totally lost. He doesn't know much about sports and often will talk about other things to cover up two hours of saying nothing.
