WERZ it is, as I hinted last week. It is good to see him back on air I do think that WERZ will only be a pit stop for him and he'll be back in the bigs shortly. He's too good not to be heard in a major market.

Ralphie here...thanks for the kind words, it has been a loooong 6 months!! Like these posts say, it is great to be gettting back to work. I was doing fill stuff on BLI on Long Island (where I grew up), didnt pan out, and this came along, and I am thrilled!! I am looking forward to you all listening, and your comments, good, and not so good!! After being away for so long, just to be talking smack on the air. I hope to be here a while, as you all know I have kids in school, and it is important to try to keep staibility in this most unstable business. I will miss my friends dearly, but I am glad, slowly but surely, we are getting back to work, and ther new people here at ERZ have been great!! Let me know what you all think as we get this thing going soon!! Here's hoping we all keep working, and the good souls that are on the beach right now, get back soon, I am always pulling for you. BTW, McGowan has been doing fill at Star99.9 in Bridgeport, Conn, sounds real good too, espically talking over Michael McDonald!!

I can still remember that April afternoon when I turned on the radio and caught the change over.. We all realize that Star is now just a piece of Boston's radio history. You guys did an outstanding job with mornings, you, Karen, and Freddy created a warm friendly environment. We hated to see Star blow up..
One of the songs you played on the air your last morning was Jigsaw's - Sky High... Did you guys know of the flip that morning??
My wife and I live on Cape Ann and WERZ booms in here so we will be listening.. Good luck on the new station.

Did Ralphie ever work in New York City? (I know that Balthazar of WJMN-FM went on to WKTU-FM 103.5 in NYC.) Mike McGowan is at WEZN-FM 99.9 of Bridgeport, CT, an AC station in direct competition with powerhouse WEBE-FM 107.9 of Westport, CT. Mike also does occasional voiceover work for WVIT-TV (NBC) channel 30 of New Britain/Hartford, CT. Can you tell I miss the real "Jam'n 94.5" of the mid-to-late 90s?
