Cumulus Media’s Hot AC WPLJ, New York promotes jock Ralphie Aversa to the evening show from the company’s CHR WBHT, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

I'd Imagine it's a nice pay increase.

Sooo...Ralphie's show still airs in WB/S, there's a lot of other satellite material (not that it's a bad thing), and Jerry Padden voicetracking from Allentown. Just wondering...Who's keeping the lights on?

My issue with BHT is their inconsistency between music and talk. Their syndicated morning show is very talk-heavy, and their afternoon show is very music-heavy with very few comments from the hosts ever since AJ left. I also wish they wouldn't play the same songs over and over again but would instead mix in some songs from the 2000's that we don't hear anymore. I don't think Cumulus is focusing on BHT because KRZ dominates the top 40 music ratings.
