Ramblin' for 65 years

According to a web site, Ramblin' Lou did his first radio show on WJJL in 1947. If that's true, he's been on the air for 65 years. That must be an all time record for a Western New York radio personality. I think that Lou's outlasted Clint Buehlman by a "country mile". Does anyone know of a WNY radio broadcaster who's been at it longer?

I remember listening to him on WWOL in the early '60's. That along with my parents old 78's and my uncle's Hi-Fi that was stacked with Country LP's and played all over the farm on speakers that were all over the place was my first exposure to Country Music!

Today's Country sounds like Rock to me.
