Nicom's perfectly OK (and seems to be a good product, somewhat like BEXT), but Ramsey made the mistake of marketing their non-certified stuff in the domestic market, rather than for export.

Nicom is OK and it is just like BEXT (as a matter of fact, BEXT will fix Nicom exciters since Nicom's tech support, unlike the rigs themselves, sucks).
