Randi Douglas Out At Warm

WRRM/"Warm 98" morning co-host Randi Douglas has left the station.

In an interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer's John Kiesewetter, WRRM program director Chris Lynn not only declined comment on Randi's exit, but he proclaimed: "We made a change on the Warm 98 morning show. It is now a one host morning show - Dean Miuccio in the morning.

"We thank Randi and wish her the best," he continued.

Reduced staff on morning shows and more music thanks to the PPM. They are not kind to personalty radio. Randi will be scooped up rather quickly I suspect.

Good Luck RD!

Not knowing how the station does through out the day, PPM might mean Cumulus is considering a full blown format change soon. Although WRRM is a heritage station and brand, I think a GEN X format would do better in the PPM world.

This is Cumulus, and they are worse than Clear Channel in the way they run things. WRRM was a better station when Susquehanna owned it.

She is a great person. She was President of the student council when she was a senior at NRHS back in 1978-79. Randi, ( not her real name of course, is still well thought of in her home town. I was her Ass't Principal her senior year.. Best of luck BB. you are one of the good ones.

Any station owned by Susquehanna is better off in the past than it is now. But in the case of WRRM, clearly a programmer in place who has no clue what he's doing. Letting TJ Holland go in 09 was one of the bone headed moves of all time. WRRM was #1 in all its target demos when he was cut loose.

TJ Holland is now at Saga/Columbus, PD of WSNY(Sunny 95), WVMX(Mix 107.9), and WNND and WNNP(Rewind 103.5/104.3).

They don't call 'em the Dickey boys for nuthin.

Seriously, I hope he lands somewhere...but in another market

PD Chris Lynn wryly comments: "The night air shift has been eliminated. Jim is no longer with the radio station. Playing music at night."

(Picture that being said with as little enthusiasm as possible.)
