Randi Rhodes Back

Looks like 1520 has signed up with the syndication where she has landed after her situation with Air America. That was fast!

I did enjoy hearing Richard Belzer in the interim. He's a wild-eyed liberal who, at least on the radio, doesn't go shrill.

Just went to WROC's website. No mention of Randi so far. I hope they pick her up,too.

I hit scan while listening to the radio this afternoon and came upon "Bounce Your Boobies" on the high end of the mAyheM dial. "What the hell is this!?" Kept listening and there was Randi Rhodes, laughing and rollicking, back on the 50kW-less-than-two-share-flame-thrower. I like Rhodes because she seems to understand what most (former and current) Air America gasbags don't... it's about ENTERTAINMENT first and politics after that. Of course, Rhodes' show likely be pre-empted through the summer by the dynamic ratings juggernaut that is Bisons baseball, but it's still good to have Rhodes back in Buffalo. Good move by the Entercom suits.

Her friday afternoon opening theme song.

Air America has lost their best host. With her, Ed Schultz and Stephanie Miller and Bill Press all working for other networks, I think they AA is now on life support. I listen to WROC frequently, but wouldn't care if their whole lineup was AA free.

btw, for all you more technically inclined people - how come when WROC and KB are running the same program at the same time, it runs 10 seconds later on KB? Just curious.
