Randy Davis Sounding Good Tonight!

It's a pleasure hearing Randy Davis on CBSFM tonight. Always sounds great. I wish CBSFM would make him a better offer than what he's getting at the Breeze in NJ and bring him back for a weekday show from 9am-12pm mon-fri and saturdays from 6am-10am. Brian Thomas can make a weekday schedule (mon-fri) like this:

5:30am-9am - Dan Taylor
9am-12pm - Randy Davis
12pm-3pm - Broadway Bill Lee
3pm-7pm - Bob Shannon (def sounds better in pm drive like he did for years on 101)
7pm-12am - Ron Parker

Randy sounded ok, - But I think WCBS-FM should also hire Big Jay fulltime (as long as he could play WNBC jingles) And CBS - FM needs to also hire back Max Kinkle, Bobby Jay, Norm N Nite, Don K, Ed Bear, Dan Ingram, Cousin Brucie, Bill Brown, and everybody else who is not retired. Yes, CBS-FM needs to go backwards and capture that magical sound from a few years back. Perhaps even add in some reverb. Just think how happy everybody on these radio boards would finally be. Oh, did I mention bring back Mickey Dolenz too?

You had me going for a second there. :D

Randy Davis did do an excellent show tonight, but I think The Breeze needs him more than CBS-FM does. And I like having Bob Shannon during middays. I get the feeling he wouldn't have as much freedom if he were in the PM drive shift.
