More important than the actual memo is this comment--posted under the garsee story on azstarnet.com:
E-mail rules for the workplace:
Never e-mail when angry.
Count to ten before pressing send.
Never vent in an e-mail to your boss, co-workers, friends, spouse, significant other person!
E-mail always creates a written record that WILL be used against you in court.
E-mail is the least effective communication method for important issues ... amplifies the emotional messages sent between the lines of the words.... a person will always appear more lovely than they really are or more enraged they that are... seems like a News Anchor would know that unless their ego was blinding them.
The BOSS is not always right or nice or even a good person..... but the BOSS is ALWAYS the BOSS! Until they are fired or leave.
Life is ALWAYS better when you've been fired from a place that you think sucks but didn't have the courage to quit because you know the PAYCHECK could be impossible to replaced.
News Anchors aren't the KINGS and QUEENS they think they are... life in Tucson will go on without Randy Garsee ... sort of like what happens when you remove your hand from a bucket of water... impossible to see where it was just a moment ago.
