Gee how come I am not surprised for some reason this guy thinks he is bigger than the music, he did the same thing at YSP he followed Stern and felt he was just as popular as Stern, asked for big bucks YSP told him to take a hike, probably played out the same way with Weston and WMMR...
Randy Kotz is a really nice guy and very down to earth. As far as FM Dial's speculation that he asked for big bucks...he was an overnight guy. I think he was realistic enough to know that he couldn't ask for big bucks, doing that shift. Money may have been a factor, since he had been there for almost a decade and maybe 'MMR thought they could get someone a lot cheaper for the shift. But I don't think it was because of an outrageous salary demand on Kotz's part.
