The Randy Michaels Show
Randy Michaels was the brain power behind the growth of Jacor - a cluster of radio stations financed by the Chicago zillionare Sam Zell. When Clear Channel picked up Jacor Randy came along and shook the rafters of the San Antonio boys. He was a real radio guy...I didn't always agree with his methods, but he created good radio.
Anyway...time passes...Randy is moved out and now resurfaces as CEO of a small cluster of small market TV stations previously owned by The New York Times. That should be interesting...
Other than he had alot to do with CCU acquiring the KJR cluster, this has nothing to do with Seattle radio, but as has been pointed out elsewhere, it's been pretty quiet here lately.
