rane gone?

No other station get as much attention on this board as WPGC does INTERESTING. I do not know if she is leaving or not but usually when a employee sues an employer it usually results in a parting of the ways so i would not be surprised if this is true iam not saying that she is wrong or right but her issue is with PAST management not CURRENT management. Iam sure that it is a contract NON-RENEWAL since she could place another lawsuit against CBS Radio for wrongful termination/retalation if it is not i think that they are smarter than that. I know that several contracts at sister station WJFK have just been renewed by CBS so it may be a cluster thing. WPGC is in a good place right now with a new Market Manager(Steve Swenson),new PD(Jason Kidd),new Promotions Director(Renie Hale) so the timing of this was off. Can we say IF this is true The New Home Team(DJ Flexx and Layia).

Rane is offically gone from WPGC NO SURPRISE TO ME. Go to station web site (on air section) and DCRTV.COM Reportedly DJ Flexx will do afternoon drive solo do not be surprised if at some point Layia join`s him their.

I don't think this is really a surprise to anyone.

It's not, and most likely Flex will get his papers soon after. WPGC is finally ushering in a new generation of DJ's after more than 10 years.

Yep PGC is moving in a different direction. The changes aren't done. Wouldn't surprise me if Flex is out either, but I believe right now all eyes are on a new nighttime host. Stay tuned.

Well, I still feel that Rane was in the right. Anyways, WPGC is going in a more "CHRurban" direction these days so it is what it is. CBS will hold on to Flexx for awhile at WPGC, just look at what sister station, V-103, is doing with Greg Street, whom is well into his 40s as well. Also Tigger is nearing 40 and Free is in her early 40s.
