Wow! Now what do ya think of that? The dude makes more money but she is infinitely more educated. Does education matter? Evidently not. Lets hear from the prognosticators, will CBS win or will Rane be victorious? My thoughts, I am not a fan of Flex and have never been but I only know who she is BECAUSE she sits next to him on a regular. I always thought she was a side-kick. Should a side kick make the same as the lead dog on a show? We shall see. Personally, I hope she gets paid becasue I believe she is in her final days. She will be, er ah, radioacitve after all is said and done.

She deserve her compensation considering her educational background and tenure with the station. I'm been very familiar with the situation @ CBS Radio and she isn't a sidekick at all rather an actual host of the "HomeTeam" show. CBS is wrong for doing that but no surprise in this day and age.

Education doesn't matter any more. It's all about who you know.

It's always been that way, but that's not a justification to underpay her considering she has been there holding down same position along side him for nearly 15 years.

I am down for becomming better educated. However, I can't see how her education matters to PGC. She doesn't do a legal advise show and the broadcast journalism aspect of PGC, to the extent that it exists at all, ends at 10 am with the morning show. Correct me if I am wrong. PGC is not a news and information leader in the market by a long shot. Why should she expect that her educational credentials would make her as valuable to PGC as Flexx's street cred makes him valuable to PGC.

Maybe, but I believe her Bachelors which is applicable to WPGC although she doesn't work in the news department, which is basically Guy Lambert. However, her and Flexx do host town halls which is more 'public affairs' aspect. The degree can be applied towards anything in broadcasting not just journalism itself. However, she should still be compensated since she has a Bachelors applicable to the field of radio itself. She may not be in the streets like Flexx, but her value is her contribution of consistent strong ratings during key demos like nights and now afternoons.

She definitely isn't just a sidekick so she deserves the equal pay. I do find it odd that she waited till now to do it. Contract renewals going on now? Hometeam ratings up maybe? Interesting to see how this will all turn out.

This is the entertainment industry, all those letters behind your name can't make u a good entertainer. She'll lose, then get fired. Stupid.

Hopefully, the judge overseeing this case will make an example out of the plaintiff in this case and rule in her favor... thus, "making it Rane". ::)
