I would add, especially on a cable network like TBS, which enjoys "basic" status on many cable systems and satellite providers, since its days as "SuperStation WTBS." The assumption by MLB is that most of the nation (>50%) enjoys cable and satellite penetration, so there is no need to fill any "holes" in coverage in areas that don't.
Although MLB is missing a money-making opportunity by not offering the TBS games to local affiliates - wonder how much CBS 11/TXA 21 would pay for the ability to air these games locally?
And @charlestondxman, I agree with your assessment to a point - the Rangers have two games to win this thing, the Yankees only have one - but the Rangers silver bullet (Cliff Lee) won't be used until a potential Game 7, so there is every opportunity for the Rangers to mess this up and force it to Game 7. However, last night on the game Ron Darling pointed out that Colby Lewis has the chance to be Cliff Lee's hero by pitching well in game 6 and giving the Rangers every opportunity to win - saving Lee for game 1 of the WS. That'd be my best-case scenario, too. (Sorry about the OT comment.)
