Rank these stations from best to worst

1. WYDE by a wide (no pun intended) margin. I may find it harsh at times, but they are live and local with quality hosts and a solid news division. And being on FM helps, even if it isn't the greatest signal in the area.

2. Would be WAPI if I listened to its programming on it, but I don't. I listen to Ingraham, Boortz, Doyle, etc. on Anniston's WDNG 1450, mainly because they stream and WAPI doesn't.

3. WERC (or WAAX), both are CC cookie-cutter stations. Meh.

Ohh..tough to decide between ERC and YDE...

I'm going to say:

1. WYDE - More local than ERC and has FM & AM coverage. News needs a lot of work but the shows are pretty good.
2. WERC - They have Rush and Beck but all the syndication makes the station sound cavalier to Alabama headlines.
3. WAPI - they're last because I don't really listen to them. I don't like any of their shows and the last time I heard their news, they had Steve Ross, I think; whomever it is from Metro doing news for them. I couldn't listen to that.
