Rat Shack closing out HDRadios

For those interested, Rat Shack is closing out all their inventory of HDRadio. Check local listings as they vary from store to store.

Well I keep one around just so I can listen to KOGO in crystal clear clarity.

John Monti in HD is still the same as a taped weekend news reports in analog.

The rackmountable tuner is a steal at $29.95.

Why haven't they changed the name to "CELL SHACK?"

What model? What store?

I went into their store for a RJ-45 coupler (CAT5 Network cable). They don't have it. I went back another day looking for a UPS. They don't have any. RS is truely becoming worthless.

If you go to a Best Buy and ask about HD radio, they assume that is a satellite system like XM.

I would have recommended monoprice.com for just about any cable that you could need. Granted you have to wait for it to be shipped but they will get it out same day if you order early enough. And I've bought my last 3 UPS's from amazon. None of them cost less than $25 these days so they all ship for free.

I checked a store here in Las Vegas. The salesrep looked on his computer and said there were none available in the Las Vegas Valley. He said they were snapped up quickly. I asked if there were any stations still broadcasting in HD. He said, Of course... he couldn't name any though.
