Why even entertain such a silly argument. A guy who doesn't have SiriusXM, and is glad he never got it, is saying it's not worth it. Yet like us that do listen every day is telling us it sucks. Sort of like saying you hate the food in China, but you've never been there. Simply angry, low level people who like to put the world down so they can feel better about themselves. Sad! We have choices in life. If you don't like something, don't get it. And if you get something and don't like it, get rid of it. SiriusXM has 20 million people that do like it, so no loss if you don't. Just don't put us down that do. Reminds me of my friend Dave who has worked in radio sales in the top ten markets for 25 years. He got SiriusXM last week as he is driving a lot now with his new job outside of radio. He said, "I just got Sirius and I love it. It's the best thing I ever bought. I'll never listen to terrestrial stations again." I replied, "I know Dave. Now you know why terrestrial radio tried so hard to stop them from merging. Welcome aboard."

Your all so right SiriusXM Satellite Radio is the cat's meow right up until that stupid wire breaks leading up to the antenna. Then it's not worth ****! Somebody go back to the drawing board and increase the size of the wire.

sirius. First choice is the cassette adapter. Second the MP3 plug in your stereo. Third the adapter to plug it into your amps.

I would have thought that the AUX In would be best? The cassete adapters seem to be a little noisy and crop the high and low ends some...

That is just plain wrong for a number of reasons:
First the Aux output provides the best sound quality, second is FM; the modulator used in Sirius and XM radios is capable of a top end of 15khz, the average cassette player is 12khz with all things perfect inside; such as head alignment. The other flaw in cassette adapters is the mechanism is running; wearing out the belts and motors and in some transports you risk the adapter getting jammed inside the radio.
If you really want to improve the audio quality, try a high quality transmitter like the EDM LCD transmitter; which will give you audiophile quality sound to any radio on your property.

Every Time I used a cassette adaptor the cassette machine started going squirrelly. One started going into fast forward while playing, for no reason. In another car, the cassette player started making funny noises. I never had a problem until I started using cassette adaptors.
