The transmitter method is the last way to listen to
sirius. First choice is the cassette adapter. Second the MP3 plug in your stereo. Third the adapter to plug it into your amps.
That is just plain wrong for a number of reasons:
First the Aux output provides the best sound quality, second is FM; the modulator used in Sirius and XM radios is capable of a top end of 15khz, the average cassette player is 12khz with all things perfect inside; such as head alignment. The other flaw in cassette adapters is the mechanism is running; wearing out the belts and motors and in some transports you risk the adapter getting jammed inside the radio.
If you really want to improve the audio quality, try a high quality transmitter like the EDM LCD transmitter; which will give you audiophile quality sound to any radio on your property.
