anybody know how Ken & Kitty did?..they had BIG shoes to fill. How 'bout B104's
latest book....they've been a year without Ken Matthews. What about WLEV....and their 9th morning show in 12 years?
ZZO and the Bone?...any info?

12+ AM Drive 1) CTO 2) ODE 3) ZZO 4)LEV 5) AEB-AM 6)AEB-F 7)BONE 8)EEX

Overall the Bone did very well considering no outside ads yet and the current signal - Mon-Sun 6A-12M 6th P 18-34 6th P 18-49 but #1 Men 18-24 - Outside the Valley in Monroe County the Bone was #1 P18-34 and P18-49 - WSBG back #1 P12+ and P25-54 (WSBG also #1 Mornings)

WGPA 12+ ranked 24th AM Drive, 12th Midday, 25th PM Drive but did beat WSAN dead last ranking 37th AM Drive; 37th Midday and tied for 36th PM Drive

12+ doesn't mean anything? Tell that to Z100 NEW YORK.

meanwhile back in ALLENTOWN: if your station or morning show is #5 or #6 12+.....in a 5 station market....
it probably means you're losing rank & share in some other demos as well.....

prepare excuse lines early: "fluke" "bad book placement" "it's the summer" "12+ really doesn't mean anything" "just wait til PPM"

Explain to your salesteam that having a 5th or 6th ranked morning show is ok...because the show is actually.... #1 or #2 25-54 adults.........

Hope the MORNING CALL doesn't print only the 12+ numbers

so just outta curiousity.. are those ratings for b104.. higher or lower since ken left a year ago??
 
Well, WAEB AM beating WAEB FM shows that Bobby Guenther Walsh is one of the best in the Lehigh Valley.

Also WEEX if they are in the place stated is a really good show for them. They are the number 1 sports station.

WSAN's numbers are dismal. I don't know why, but how long can this station in its current format last? When I mentioned this months ago, all anyone could do is go down memory lane about their time there in the 1970's.

Is anyone listening to Tempo Italiano - Italian music on SAN on Sunday mornings? I wonder if that is the best part of WSAN's ratings. I bet WSAN's numbers would go way up if the old WEST morning team wound up on WSAN.
No I am in no way affiliated with them. It is just that two sports stations in the Lehigh Valley is not going to work. This is not Philadelphia. I say bring music back that FM won't touch on WSAN. You'll see the ratings climb. It's either that or stay in the cellar.

Any comments?

mr. watson.. don't know anything about tempo italiano on the radio.. but i won the spaghetti eating contest a few years back at the tempo italiano festival. lol

cisco.. so b104 really did a good job booting ken to supposedly save all that money huh? wonder if ken and kitty's ratings have dropped too .... that would make sense it would seem with how good management has done with the other stations.

and actually.. being that i'm a listener.. and not an insider... i think the X outta scranton is better than both of em.. first got turned on to them in minneapolis when i would travel there on business... would find it and lock it in on the rental car's radio. then a client in north hampton got me to listen to em here.
