Ratings have been out for a few days. Mainly been watching KLDE - 1.9? Ouch! Of course thats 12+, but that still hurts....

Is everyone still waiting for Mega 101 to flip? LMAO!!! :D

On a serious note, I think Mega sounds really Hot. I like the variety from old school Freestyle & Hip Hop to current Hip Hop and Reaggeton.

If I were Cumulus, I'd pull the plug on KFNC and move the coverage back to Beaumont. There is so much segmentation of the radio market that there will need to be further niche formats introduced for the number of stations present.

As for KLOL, they still suck, unless you like that kind of music. ;D

KMJQ Still holding strong, KBXX is still hanging in there, KRBE Stilll also going strong with all the changes, I still wish they would bring back more dance music over the weekends. Back when Mark D was mixing, they were in the top 5 in the market! What are they going to do with KFNC? wow, any thoughts that air america might move in to 97.5?

KOVE takes a bit of a hit while KLTN and KTJM/KJOJ show an increase. Listeners going back the other way?

Ignore the KROI number, still mostly La Mera Mera during the survey dates. We'll get a somewhat better picture in three months. Will be interesting to see where 92.1's old listeners went, and what kind of dent (if any) Praise 92.1 makes in KMJQ.

Also way too early for the KLDE reimaging to be reflected.

KKBQ now back ahead of KILT-FM.

KFNC should be in "any day now" territory for a format flip. SuperTalk is SuperDead.

I know it's just one song but it might have been a factor in the Houston country race. "Brand New Girlfriend" by Steve Holy was a really hot song. In July
it was the #1 most monitored song on KKBQ. For some reason, KILT was not playing it at all at that time, they ended up being the last country station in America to add it. This is surprising because KILT normally likes to play songs that generate lots of requests and this is a HUGE phone record! If someone wanted to hear it or have their friends listen to it the only place to go was KKBQ.

In the PPM for the first week of Aughes, KOVE ties KLTN 12+ for the first time.

And KROI shows some amazing growth in the first weeks of the new format (PPM is weekly with 5 weeks of data given out at PPM summit in Columbia last Thursday)

They sure burned a ton of money to tell you something you already know.
Guess third party review isn't needed when the outcome is that obvious.

I did think that KODA would taper off after and until the holiday season.
