Saw the blog.

Want to show you a door.

A magical door. Yes, go to it. Don't be afraid. Turn the knob.

What do you see?

Trees, birds, flowers, people. Don't be afraid. You can go there, too.

PLEASE, PLEASE NO TALK. Hell, that is basically what FM does now anyway.

If Cumulus buys 99X & Q100.5, I still predict that 99X will be gone. Dickey must be referring to his success with FM talker KFNC in Houston. But, FM talk isn't new, so I don't know why he's calling it the next big thing.

Oh, and sunshine, Dave isn't Alt-Rock.

Probably because on Monday, Infinity announced it was flipping several of its big rock stations, including WXRK-FM in New York and WYSP-FM in Philadelphia, to "Free FM," a new talk format.

TLJ have been joking about the future of their show/jobs ever since Susquehanna announced it was for sale.

Wouldn't it be funny if Viacom "Free'd" Atlanta from Dave FM, replacing Barnes with David Lee Roth?

Infinity - headed for a trainwreck in '06.

Another excellent post by the 'throper...

BY the way. Why on earth is someone monitoring the politics of 99X? Can anything said on TLJ possibly be meaningful in such a realm?

Outside, of course, from Jimmy's buddy Ralph Reed.

I'm still interested to see how David Lee Roth does. But If they did that they may flip Dave to their new Free-fm format. Talk Fm.... I can't belive I'm saying this, but I'd rather listen to Barnes....<P ID="signature">______________
