Ratings Game: Arbitron ratings for c2c etc

if someone has access to the database, please post the latest numbers for coast to coast.

also looking at the calendar it doesn't say specifically when the 'sweeps' weeks are, does anyone know? only that 1st release is Apr 14 and 2nd is Oct 13in LA but when are the basis weeks?

There are no sweeps in LA radio... measurement is every week of the year.

how do stations get basis points for determining their advertising rates per program then? for national shows, limbaugh, rome, etc.

If you pay a few million, you can get all the show and demographic reports you want. Otherwise, you have to look market by market, if you are subscribed. The subscribers are generally the networks and syndicators.

Local stations subscribe to the local market reports. in the top 50 markets (except for two) there are 13 4-week books and 52 weekly reports a year. The books have thousands and thousands of ways to look at time slots, ages, ethnicities, geography, gender, etc. The owners of local stations subscribe to use to present to their potential advertisers, who thus get the data for free (or for a processing fee in the case of agencies).
